Under aerobic conditions, 14C-NI-25 was rapidly degraded in soil with aerobic half-lives between 1 and 8 days with a few minor exceptions. Degradation leaded to mineralisation to a large extent for most of the cases. Acetamiprid was degraded to form IM-1-2 and IM-1-4 as major metabolites, possibly partially via the transient minor metabolite IM-1-3. IM-1-2 then metabolises quite quickly with a half-life of around 2 days.. IM-1-4, with a half-life between 4 and 140 days, was further slowly degraded to form the minor metabolite IC-0, which was mineralised rapidly to carbon dioxide. IM-1-5 was formed in various soils as a minor metabolite. Slow to no degradation of IM-1-5 was observed with a half-life around 300 days.
