Under aerobic conditions, bifenazate was rapidly degraded in soil, with an aerobic half-life of around 1 day. Mineralisation to CO2 was observed in relatively small extent. Two major metabolites were formed in all soils: D3598 and D1989. D1989 degraded quite fast further with a half-life between 10 and 30 days. D3598 degraded even faster with a half-life between 1 and 20 days. Two other metabolites IBMHC and DDC were observed. IBHMC degraded with a half-life around 20 days, while DDC degraded with a half-life between 20 and 50 days. Note: the exact pathway has not been established therefore part of it remains still unclear
