Dimethomorph
Isomer mixture. For three soils dimethomorph was fixed as residues that could not be extracted from the soil with aqueous/organic solvents. The mineralisation within 120 days was less than 2 % and only minor metabolites were detected. At least three minor metabolites were detected in the solvent-extractable radioactivity, the combined amounts never exceeded 4.5 % of the applied radioactivity. The E/Z ratio of the parent compound in the extractable residue shifted from approximately 48/52 at 0-time to approximately 29/71 at 180 days. In the acidic sand soil (pH 3.5), dimethomorph degraded very slowly and no change in the E/Z isomer ratio was observed.
