Fuberidazole
Results of aerobic route and rate of degradation laboratory studies carried out at 20􀁱C and 50% Maximum water holding capacity dosed with [C14 phenyl] fuberidazole were available for four soils. The major (>10%AR) metabolite 2-carboxybenzimidazole (M01, 1- methylbenzimidazole-2-carboxylic acid) was formed in these studies at up to 15.4% AR at 120 days in the sand soil. The minor metabolite 2- acetylbenzimidazole (M11, 1-(1-methylbenzimidazole-2-yl)eyhan-1-one) was formed at a maximum of 5.9%AR at day 62 in the silt soil (it was not > 5% AR at two consecutive sampling times). Other metabolites were not identified, but the sum of these never accounted for > 6.1% AR at any sampling point and in samples where the results were reported there were 3 resolved components. At day 90, CO2 represented 3.1-16.1% AR and unextracted radioactivity accounted for 40.5-53 % AR.
