Propoxycarbazone-sodium
Under aerobic conditions, propoxycarbazone-sodium was moderately slow degraded, with a half-life between 10 and 220 days. The mineralisation was depending on the soil, but often to a large amount. Eight metabolites were formed of which 4-hydroxy saccharin, saccharin and MKH 651 sulfonamide methyl ester were accounted as major metabolites. MKH 651 sufonamide methyl ester degraded quite fast with a half-life between 5 and 35 days. One of the resulting metabolite was saccharin, which degraded as well quite fast with a half-life up to 40 days. The product 4-hydroxy saccharin degraded slower, with a half-life between 30 and 500 days. Despite the major metabolites, there were several other metabolite formed: MKH 6561 Carboxylic acid, N-methyl propoxy triazolinone, N-methyl propoxy triazolinone amidem, MKH 6561 Sulfonamide Acid and MKH 6561-4-methoxy saccharin (M11). While MKH 6561-4-methoxy saccharin degraded quit quickly, N-methyl propoxy triazolinone amide and N-methyl propoxy triazolinone were slowly degrading.
