Teflubenzuron
Two studies (Schülter, 1985; and Croucher & Edwards, 1990) using a total of 2 soils were submitted to investigate the route of degradation of teflubenzuron under aerobic and anaerobic conditions in the laboratory. One metabolite, 3,5-dichloro-2,4-difluorophenylurea, reached a maximum level of 10.71% AR under aerobic conditions. A second metabolite, 3,5-dichloro-2,4-difluoroaniline, reached a maximum level of 8.43% AR under aerobic conditions. This second metabolite did not exceed 5% AR for successive time points in any study.
