Fluroxypyr
Fluroxypyr MHE in soil quickly hydrolysed, both under aerobic and anaerobic conditions to Fluroxypyr acid. The acid underwent further transformation, partly via Pyridinol or Methoxypyridine, two major soil metabolites. The final degradation products were CO2, which was a major degradation product under aerobic conditions, and non-extractable residues (NER) that dominated under anaerobic conditions. Photolysis was stated not to be a significant degradation mechanism of Fluroxypyr MHE in soil.
